Opening of our clinic in Hopkinsville

Positive Reinforcement ABA Therapy Inc.  Offers services to families in over 16 states and growing.  Our services are in-home, and community, and school settings. We are opening our first clinic in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.  The company began one of our owners would not accept physicians stating that her son would never be a productive member of society due to his Autism Diagnosis.
Over time with lots of care, love, and a strong foundation, his BCBA, and Behavioral Therapist has graduated High School and is now enrolled in Full Sail University.
Today, Lisa Long takes her passion and drive to assist other families, walking the same path that she has for so many years.
Mary Wagner, our other owner, is the company’s backbone and ensures that insurances companies cover ABA Therapy for our clients.
We are having a Hiring event on 4 August 2021 from 9:00 am -1:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 7;00 pm. There will be on-site interviews.
The Grand Opening on 5 August 2021 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Job Description

The Registered Behavior Technician provides one on one ABA based treatment in the home, school and other clinical settings based on the needs of the families.

  • RBT will receive ongoing training to improve on skills. They must pass a competency-based test to receive the RBT credential. Training will be provided from Positive Reinforcement ABA Therapy, Inc.
  • RBT can turn their job into a career as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), once they meet the educational and supervision requirements to sit for the BCBA exam.
  • With the guidance of a BCBA we follow evidence-based treatment to reduce challenging behavior and promote skill acquisition.
  • RBT collect data on the progress of skills and behavior. They also record progress through summaries and graph the data at the end of sessions.
  • Submission of medical records and time digitally daily via internet submission.

Openings

-We are seeking candidates to work between the hours of 8:00am- 7:00pm. Up to 40 hours per week.

-We will be conducting interviews via phone to start once we review all resumes.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • RBT Credentialed or BCBA a plus but not required.
  • At least 6 months experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism.
  • A background in psychology, education, or a related field.
  • AS, BA, or MA Degree preferred.
  • Driver’s license
  • BLS/CPR Certification portion of it must be completed on a dummy in person
  • Legally authorized to work in U.S.
  • NPI number assigned
